Ok, different positions i know but they are both young, talented and play important roles for their respected clubs..... So, who do you think is the better of the two ?

I don't think this is a fair comparison. Different positions as you have said but also age and experience.
I think eventually they will be superstars of the 1st rank and do entirely different things. Cesc will run things from the middle of the park, maybe not get many goals but be his teams driving force.
Cron will be scoring more, setting up assists and playing a much great role in the offense, though probably not as staked with defensive requirements.
Overall at the Moment I think Ronaldo is more important.

They're in different places.. Ronaldo works mostly through his agility and excellent strikes but Fabregas can hold a team together and help a striker to an ecxellent goal just like he always did when playing in Arsenal and the Spanish team during the world cup. They're not the same age either.

Cesc. Ronaldo beats people, and than dives when about to loose the ball, wakes up screams at the referee for not awarding a freekick. Atleast Cesc do not dive and score goal as well as defends them. Finally, he also threw the pizza to Fergies face 2 seasons ago. What a wonder kid.

In Modern football especially premier league, speed is very important without it you hardly survives in premier league. These two young guns are very talented in different way. Ronaldo is great in attacking play where as fabregas is very good in midfield, he defense very well too. They both play very well in their position, so it's pretty much depend on who do you need to complete your team.
But I have to say that Ronaldo have the edge over fabregas, with his speed and footworks, you would like to have him on your team for sure. (I must say that i'm not a big fan of cristiano ronaldo, maybe not yet)

Even though Cesc is younger I think he has a more mature understanding of the game. Ronaldo has deffinately benefitted from the jeering he has endured during away games, and thus he can control his anger better, but even as a Man U fan I have to go with Fabergas as the better player. (or at least will be)

FABREGAS of course....duh!!! He is much more of a better and honest footballer and more mature than C. Ronaldo who is all cocky and likes to dive during a match...
OH...and don't forget that Cesc is a 100 times more good looking than Ronaldo....lol

I'll go for C Ronaldo. He's fast and better dribbler of the ball. He can also shoot with both legs. Feb is also great but he's more into europe continental style than for the rugged English game.
