I think it was a bad move. With Christmas coming up, I think they are going to lose money in the long run. Even if they save money right now.

I didn't even know that they were taking away the lay away section at Wal-Mart. I definately think will hurt them a lot. Many people might relly need what they are going ot buy but don't have enough money to pay for it at the moment. It's definately NOT GOING TO HELP THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I heard about this last night on the news, I really didn't believe it, because everyone shops there and relies on putting their things on hold till they can pay for them. I definitely think it will hurt them. I like to shop at Walmart but I do not like the long lines and the ladies in red. The cashiers, wear mostly blue jackets and are pretty nice! But the ones in red can be a real pain in the Axe....... LOL..

Wal-mart sucks to start with, the stores are unclean the help is horrible this only adds to the list of reasons why i won't shop there.

I think it was a bad customer service move this close to Christmas. There are alot of people who rely on layaway to get there Christmas shopping done. People will do more shopping at Kmart because they still offer layaway.
