Yes, I lived there many years ago and still have friends there as well. The White mountains are beautiful. Really decent snow skiing...yes, Snow. All of AZ isn't the dry, hot and dusty desert that many people think it is. There is also the petrified forest, painted desert the Grand Canyon and really neat caverns that you can tour. Yes... spent six weeks working for a client in Phoenix during July which is probably the worst time to go since it's too hot.

I used to live in Scottsdale and Glendale.... besides the heat it is a nice place....lots of chic restaurants, sporting events, shopping, mountain views, and a Walgreens on every corner.....Summers are extra hot but the hotel rooms are cheap.....Start mid Sept the rates go back up.....If you go enjoy....

I was just there this spring. It is dry but i think there is alot of pretty sights. as for me i enjoyed the beauty of the mountains, the colors, and the sunset. Reminds me of the one that placed all the colors

i have and i also visited the grand canyon which was amazing even though it gets real hot i got used to it i would defintly either visit there or move there
