i know.. yes!! im stupid!!!!i have it for homeowrk i dont know what the words mean!!
in american history we were looking at the constitution for the united states!! and stuff like that and i dont knoW!!

Legislative refers to that government body that MAKES the laws called the legislature. In Washington, D.C., that would be the House of Representatives and the Senate. Judicial refers to that part of the government who interprets the laws and declares them constitutional or not. The court system in the united States consists of district courts, circuit courts, and the Supreme Court which is based in Washington. The Supreme Court is the highest court in the land and has nine justices (judges) with one of them being the Chief Justice.

The legislative branch makes the laws. Congress is the legislative branch. It is bicameral with a Senate and a House of Representatives.

The judicial branch interprets the laws. The Supreme Court is the highest level of the judicial branch.
