I would like to become class representitive. There is a boy running against me who won last year and did a bad job. Most of the girls are voting for me, but all the boys want to vote for last year's CR. What should I do to win them over?

(I'm considering convincing another boy to run, but what else could I do? He's really determined. Thanks for answering!)

Introduce yourself to the boys in the halls and your classes and before and after school and hand them a campaign card telling them about yourself and the office you are running for and that you want their vote. Have a picture of yourself on the campaign cards. Look each one in the eye as you speak. Try to speak to groups of boys to get as many cards as you can passed out. If they ask you for a date, tell them you might consider it after the election and then ask if they will spread the word about your candidacy. Don't talk about your opponent, just about yourself and the office you are seeking.

I'm not going to give you an answer, rather, advice. Do it like the real politicians do things: Discredit him with them, somehow. Dig up dirt on him and blackmail him. Buy votes with money or promises. Embarrass him beyond belief. Or kill him. (Hey, real politicians do it.) No, don't really kill him. You might get into trouble. Good luck, though. I hope you win.

To win a school election be yourself , and don't tell the students at school information about things you can't do. It is just best to give the school info about things you CAN do to improve the school.
