Most people get sort of edgy when a flag of any country made in any country gets burned, even though a damaged or tainted flag of any nation is supposed to be ceremonially cremated (which is burned) as a sign of honor and respect.

Legally, though, since it is arson and most counties in most states do not allow people to burn anything outside without a licence or special permission, it is not "OK" to burn a flag, but as to the morality of setting a flag on fire, that is a personal choice. If you think it is right, then it is right to you and only for you. Your rights and wrongs are not always other people's rights and wrongs.

Though I do find it ironic that you should ask about burning a flag made in China, considering how much American symbology people associate with the American flag, most of which are made either in China or Taiwan.

first off, what flag are you talking about, you do not specify.

if it is an american flag this is what I suggest for you,

go over to a veterans house or an active soldiers home/housing and ask them while the flag is burning on their patio.

thanks, and good luck with those medical bills bro...

Flag burning is not a sign of disrespect. It is a sign of protest to what our government is doing.

As we all know, our 'beloved' elected officials don't always do what is right or what their constituents wish. How many scandals are there in this presidential terms already?

Dang! I can't count that high.

A flag is just a piece of cloth. True patriotism is in the heart not in the display of a piece of cloth. The only real symbol of a great country is happy citizens.

its not ok to burn a flag made anywhere. whatever country the flag represents, and whatever country it happened to be made in, deserves respect and to burn a flag is not just illegal but morrally wrong.

Funny. No flag burning, but if it's a US flag made in China, I don't think it counts. Maybe you can burn it as you protest the loss of American jobs to foreign nationals.

A US flag is a US flag no matter where it is made. If you wrap it around your body first (make sure you douse it with gasoline first) and then light it probably nobody would care much as long as you go up with it..
