Both of you take a time out. Think about what has you so ticked, what can the child learn from his behavior or what have you. Don't react while you're ticked, later on you may figure out that you were to harsh and want to change the discipline. Yet you do that, then the child could play on that something awful.

I have a 13 yr old son. Dont know how old your kid is but putting him or her in time out is something you should try. If your kid is older than good luck ...lol....its not easy being a parent. Just teach them to the best of your ability. They need to know right from wrong,,and when you are ticked they need to be away from you until you cool down and are able to talk to them.

You teach by example, if you lie they will, if you cuss they will, if you want to teach give a good example for them to learn from.
