Today i overheard some girls gossiping, because i heard one of them say my name in a hushed tone, which is never good, then i heard them mention two of my friend's names. i'm not sure what they said about my friends, but i know that they were talking about me. Should i tell my friends that they were mentioning their names today, i honestly think i should just shut up about this and keep it to myself because i don't even know if they were bashing my friends or not.

I seriously applaud you!!! It takes an awesome lady to not participate in gossip, and not get upset about it. Keeping quiet and letting it go may be a very good idea especially if you know it will upset your friends. I have a friend I work with, and when she is not there almost all of our department talks about her. Do I tell her? No. She has recently been through a very serious crisis in her life and this would just add to her stress. I just keep it to myself and go on. I have told them that they need to stop gossiping, and say an extra prayer for this person instead though.

Keep it to yourself especially if you do not know what they were saying. Maybe they were saying they thought you were pretty or something like that. You could start trouble where there is none. I would go up to the girls that were talking and let them know I overheard them saying my name. Let them tell you what they were talking about if they want to.

Even if you don't know if they were bashing your friends or not
you should tell them . i think you would want them to tell you right ? What they decide to do w/the info is up to them !

i say just keep it to yourself why start something over nothing? inplus if they were talkin bad about you then just look at it this way they couldnt even have the guts to say it your face their the type of girls that like to start drama and your better off just staying outta it

That would've made 'em shut up, but of course that was so junior high years.... I'd just ignore it. Too blessed to be stressed and b1tches aren't worth my time. =)
