is it silly to hope you'll be happier in your afterlife than now - of course when the time is right

(i know you mean well but please don't write how you can change your attitude etc...i only care about what's real & certain things can never change. peace.)

No. real & certain as far as afterlife is concerned, does not exist. It's a matter of faith.

I don't think it is. No one knows what the afterlife is like, so hoping that you'll be happier isn't wrong.

All the religious people, of all faiths, talk of these things as fact. No one knows, and I am in no hurry to find out.

One thing you can be sure of, it this current life you now have...

...so I say try and enjoy this life, and if there is life after death, then party bonus..
