I've seen it about five times including the time I went last night, so, yeah, I love it. Some people say it's just a lead-up to the 3rd movie, but I think it has some really funny and really exciting scenes, and I'll definitely buy it when it comes to DVD.

I was actually a little disappointed until the end. I'm NEVER expect a sequel, especially the second in a trilogy, to be as good as the first. But, some scenes (i.e. the cannibalistic native scene) were unnecessarily long. Also, the scene where the guys were fighting and Elizabeth was just yelling at them was out of character for her and poorly done by her. The camera work was awkward in that scene as well.
However, I thought the ending was brilliant--the very last scene in the voodoo lady's hut! (I can't remember her name right now...) That was the perfect way to segue into the final installment of the movie, and left me excited to see it.

I saw it, and I had low expectations because all the critics totally ripped it...
I liked it. I enjoy the fantasy genre, so it fit with my expectations on that level.
I saw the first one and thought it was well written, with good action and was visually attactive. I found the second to be more of the same, but perhaps a little darker.
The very first minute or two was super dark, buzards... ew.
But I think they were trying to set a tone, that it wasn't a "Cute" Disney type film.
The special effects were *AMAZING* I am pretty jaded when it comes to digital effects but they were blended in masterfully. The moster faced bad guys looked soooooo real. I totally forgot it wasn't.
The writing was good, a lot of people were disapointed by the ending, but you have to go in thinking of it as part of a trillogy, not an ending by itself.
I would definitly recomend it, We will be buying it once it is out on DVD.

Saw it but have to say it was OK...it was tooo long and it just ended in the middle of a interesting part. I guess sorta like Lord of the Rings. Definitely not the type of movie to take small kids to because they don't want to sit for that long.

Great just as good as the first. Like someone else said it was a little lengthy but not in a bad way. Definitely recommend seeing it, if you haven't yet. Can't wait for the third and the release of this one to DVD.

I loved the movie. there was something for everyone: action, comedy, swordplay, romance, mysticism and great effects. I have only one question? How did Captain Barbosa get back into the picture? Oh, yeah, most of the cast was dead, so why not him, too.
