This is what my grandma taught me years ago. Attach the drawstring to as big of a safety pin as will go through the hole for the drawstring. Slide the safety pin into the hole with the drawstring behind it. With your fingers, feel the safety pin and slide it through the drawstring opening and the the drawstring will follow. I always found it helpful to place a safety pin that was bigger than the drawstring opening on the opposite end of the drawstring so you do not accidentally pull the end inside and have to pull it all out and restring it all again.

put a small safety pin on the end of the string. Work it thru the waist and out the other end. It will take some pushing and pulling but it works. Depends on the size of the hole on what size pin you can use.

Pull the drawstring each and every of how out. connect a super risk-free practices pin to a minimum of one end. Push the tip with the risk-free practices pin lower back into the drawstring establishing. you could now experience the pin under the slot the string is going by and you will inch it, inch via inch by to the different area. this could take a couple of minutes. although, I actually have a pair of Adidas pants that have that string slot sewed close interior the midsection, so the risk-free practices pin won't wade by. i think of I m screwed.

Pin a safety pin onto one end of it. Insert the pin into the groove. Keep pushing it along and it should go all the way around and out the other side. Easy!

The safety pin works well. Also, there is a tool made to do this. Is is a rod with a ball on one end and a hole on the other to put in the "string". It is called a bodkin.

Yes. get a large safety pin and open it up. Put the string through it and close the pin......and work it through that way..... the pin gives you some support to push it through...it's tedious but will work. If you are desperate you can try using a paperclip the same way....

Easy.. Put a saftey pin on the end and re thread through the end it came out of and just wiggle it through the other side, once you get both ends out tie a big knot in each of them so it don't happen again.
