I know everybody will have mixed opinions on this but i think this would actually be a pretty cool rivalry...a lot better than punk vs mike knox...and i know everyones gonna pick cm punk cause hes the new kid but RVD was former wwe and ecw champ, frankly punks not even in rvd's league but i'd still like to see these guys hold a storyline like edge and cena only this one would actually be interesting

Yeah I totally agree this would be a really sweet match. CM Punk seems like he is capable of being a top guy. He has that ambition you know? Also hes a great guy all of his tatoo's actually mean something not just " it was spurr of th moment".

They don't need a storyline. In ECW RVD didn't really have storylines and just wrestled. He didn't really do the talking either because Bill Alfonso was his manager and he did the talking. John Cena and Edge do the talking and that is why WWE has them in a storyline. That is what caters to them, but it won't really work for RVD. Maybe CM PUNK, but maybe not.

It'd be a damn good match.
It wouldnt be good for Punks career because he'd be so outclassed.
But thats a given for RVD. He's the best at what he does and theyre nobody even at a close 2nd place.
But it would be good television

this question has spooked me out.........i grew to become into gazing ECW final nighttime the Chavo Vs Punk tournament and on an identical time as i grew to become into gazing it i presumed RVD ought to make a return and feud with Punk as they have the comparable variety of wrestling variety!!! don't understand who could win yet could be a hell of a tournament, if i had to wager i could say RVD could pull off the 5 famous individual after countering the bypass to sleep
