If it pays well and it is something you'd like to do, then say yes.
Once you move to Vegas you'll be surprised at how many friends want to come up and see "you" for a visit if the can stay at your place. Show the greenies Vegas and have a fun with your friends.
When the job is finished, you can always come back.
It sounds like a great opotunity. Good luck to you!

US Airways has a hub in Vegas so there are lots of flights in and you'll probably have a flow of visitors wanting to "visit" you, oh and the Strip too.
Ask yourself: Would you want this job if location wasn't an issue? Could you try it for a while and change if you didn't like it? Would it be hurting anyone (ie moving away from kids, putting you in a bad situation because you don't have support around you)? Will it overall improve your situation?

If you are going to be in Vegas for a while or permanently than take the job and bring your family along. I lived in Vegas and it's one of the easiest towns to transfer to. They always have house for rent at very good prices and great locations. Take it, it sounds like a great opportunity and a great new start on life with your family.

Sounds like some soul searching is in order. Do you feel a very deep desire to go there and live? If family and friends are too important to leave behind then ya might have to look for something closer to home. Good luck.

It sounds like a great oppourtunity. If your single I'd say yes, your friends and familly will still be there. If your a familly man with kids I'd say that you should think about what is best for them and what would make you happiest, afterall money isn't everything, but it sure helps.

It's time to strike out and be on your own. The pay is good and Vegas is the place to be. Go for it.

No. You said it yourself, it is far from family and friends. You are not ready to move on yet.
