You probably have low blood pressure, or low iron. If not, and your positive about it, just ignore my post. I have low blood pressure and iron, and have only had a few run ins where I actually ended up fainting. When you stand up, does your vision go slightly yellow? Almost as though your attempting to see through bits of sand? This happens to me. It's because you rise really quickly, which sends a lot of your blood down, and it takes a few seconds for your blood pressure to come back under control and the dizziness to fade away. If you feel like your about to drop, sit back down, and try standing up a little slower. If you feel really, really awful, sit on the floor and bring your needs to your chin, squishing any blood back up to your head.
You may also want to check this out with a doctor. It'd be best to get an opinion from someone who really knows what they're talking about. Good luck, and I hope you feel better.

Sounds like you have "postural hypotension" - where the blood pressure fails to react to your change of position, therefore failing to come up as you stand. Sudden drop in BP will make you dizzy. Very common condition, not much to worry about if causes frequent fainting then see doctor, but generally just get up more slowly. Always drink plenty of fluids - dehydration causes hypotension - low blood pressure (more common in heat, mornings, standing for long periods - kids in school halls, pregnant women

You might be anemic. I have anemia and this happens to me a lot too when my iron is low. You should try taking some iron vitamins and see if it helps. Give them about a week to get into yours system though.
