Hmmm, I'll say "Rockin' in the Free World" - Neil Young - the godfather of grunge himself. If anyone can remember the MTV Awards from 1993, when he sang it with Pearl Jam, then you'll see what I mean!

well the best rock/grunge song is, quite clearly, 'smells like teen spirit'...although 'lake of fire' is quite good, too. then again, it's not really a ROCK/grunge song, is it? so, 'smells like teen spirit'!

I couldn't stand Nirvana so I will say Alive by Pearl Jam as they were a little bit grunge.
For rock I will go with Walk by Pantera.
That's my humble opinion.

all these answers are very soft rock SLAYERS mad riffs electrifying solos stand them in good stead with songs like .hell awaits .seasons in the abyss .TRIVIUM (new stuff)like a gun shot to the head is the way to go and is a joy to listen to BUT my vote is the best band Ive ever listened to and seen PANTERA COWBOYS FROM HELL i rest my case !!!!!!!!!!!!
