my palomino has a white mane and tail. i have used cloths bleach ,AFTER wAShing with sunlight detergent. than a conditioner for coloured hair. if you you can get ahold of 40 volume hair developer, use that and hair bleach . then you wont believe your eyes. ! watch the juges stare...

I like using the "purple" shampoo that is designed for old ladies. It works GREAT on getting whites WHITE. Plus right before I go in the arena I'll put some baby powder on their spots and legs. Works great for a quick "glowing white".

on tails OXYCLEAN its a miracle worker and scrub your horses knees etc. just wash thoughly

Try toothpaste...but make sure you wash them clean...
