I would suggest eating vegatables and meat for protein. No just eating fruits will NOT slow down your metabloism.

Generally, eating fewer than 1200 calories a day will cause your body to go into "starvation" mode, and slow your metabolism way down in preparation for scarce food in the future. Fruit is generally low in calories, so unless you eat a lot of it, you won't get enough fuel in your body. Since fruit is high in fiber, eating enough of it to get the right amount of calories will probably make you bloated; this is probably not what you want to happen. Also, fruit is nothing but carbs, and unless you don't care if your hair falls out and your skin turns dry and scaly, you should consider eating protein and fats, respectively. Not that 2 days would do that, but that is what would happen if you kept it up. Eat some protein- it will prevent your muscles from being metabolized.

I am sure you would be okay to eat fruits for a couple days the only problem you may have is in your digestive system. I dont think it will do anything to your metabolism

Well if u never eat fruit constantly in your life you may become faster of slower but its hardly likely that if u don't eat fruit all the time that you will not stick to that diet and get forced over to your usual diet

It is OK. But do that only if you have a motive. The best is to maintain a balanced method. Fruit, vegetable, grains, eggs, ... proteins can be supplied by meat or beans or soy.

I did this recently as a detox (only I juiced all the fruits and used
vegetables too). If anything, if will get your system going and clear out all the stale food in your system.

It depends on how your body works. I know if I go 12 hours or more without protein of any sort, I get sick, dizzy and nauseous.
