yeh I have already cleaned out the filter, its at the bottom of my machine under a flap.it had some lil bits in there, but machine still aint pumping, how do I take out the waste pipe to check that, its corrigated plastic,I dont want to just pull it out,so how can I check right inside..I've checked the end that goes under the sink, that end is not blocked.also the thing with buying the parts myself is I dont know anyone who can fit it for me & I dont trust myself to do it!!

ok right now I have the waste pipe in a bucket, the machine is spinning & water is coming out,I dont know if its just draining out or pumping out,if the machine is spinning does it mean its not the pump? now I tempted to think its the electrics coz the dial is just clicking round & round from long rinse to short rinse then round again to long spin then the water comes out! sorry if this is confusing.I had the electric board & pump replaced already infact this is my 3rd pump, the guy who done it said the 1st guy who done the pump should of done the electrics too coz the faulty pump caused the electrics to fault out...hmmmmm help me!!

Look in your handbook for how to clean the filter, 90% chance that something, or a build up of fluff is stuck in there.

If your washing machine is newish surely it is still under guarantee, however if it isn't try undoing the filter where the pump is but be sure to put a bowl underneath first because if there is water left in the machine it will go over the floor. Take out the filter and behind that is the pump; check that there is nothing in the pump, this is usually where the problem is. If there is nothing in the pump look inside the machine between the drum and casing sometimes things can get stuck in there as well.

try taking the pipe off the pump as some times there could be a sock or some thing similar stuck in there, if that is all clear and the other pipe is clear it could be one of two things the electric board is faulty or the pump. Try going onto a web site called www.espares.co.uk fantastic pumps are around £40.00 fit it your self or get some one to do it should not take more than half hour.

There is probably something stuck in it, if you have a filter on the front of the machine at the bottom try cleaning it out. If not it will mean you have to take the pump hose off and have a look to see if anything in there.

Sounds like the pump itself is jammed , it can be taken off the machine, cleaned & put back onto the machine with no probs
