PINK FLOYD- Animals Tour
Offenbach Festhalla - Frankfurt, Germany
January 19, 1977
Still have my ticket stub!
Managed to get backstage, saw the band minutes before they went onstage. My friend and I were roughly escorted by the polizie out a back door of the coliseum. We "tripped", ( we had done 2 hits each of black microdot and well over 80 grams of paki-black hash) our way around to the entrance and convinced the skinheads that were checking people entering the coliseum for weapons and bottles that we were kicked out because we accidentally got backstage. By this time the concert was starting and we did have our torn ticket stubs, so they let us back in. In retrospect, it was and always has been the most awesome concert I have or ever will go to.

I was leaving for college the next day. We went to the San Diego Sports Arena and saw Jefferson Starship. They really rocked! Everyone was so cool to each other, sharing pot, coke, and pills. I got so ripped, that night I caught the plane to Louisiana and I was really plastered! The next day I was a zombie. This was December 1974.

Elvis Presley, in his white jump suit in Eugene,Or. It was one of his last performances. We called for seats and they only had two left, they told us we would be behind the stage so they couldn't guarantee what we could see. The seats were wonderful, he kept turning around and I got some great pictures. Thank you for asking this question, it brought back some wonderful memories of Elvis, for me.
