The sun is in the center of the solar system. The Earth is in orbit 149,600,000 km from the sun. The moon is in orbit 384,400 km from Earth.

The entire solar system is in the Milky Way Galaxy, in one of it's outer arms known as the Orion Arm or Local Spur, and we are 25,000 to 28,000 light years from the center of the galaxy.

The moon orbits the Earth which in turn orbits the sun. Relatively speaking, the Sun is in the center, the earth goes around it and the moon goes around the earth.
