I'm moving into a dorm, and my roommate is a total snob, but is not at all attractive...what are some tips on intimidating her? I know I'm alot more attractive than her, but I want her to be jealous of me...can anyone help?

I totally relate, personally I think most of these people are trying to act above you, and they are the ones being snobs. Anyway I have had to deal with a few nasty roommates myself and I’d recommend going in looking perfect, and acting nice, smart, but completely out of her level. Don’t even feed into her stupidity. Have your own thing going, and if you are a lot better looking then her then you’ll have no prob! Girl, make her jealous!!!

Instead of wasting your time on petty infighting with your roommate, at least get to know her. Not being attractive and rooming with someone who is can rub some people the wrong way. Insecurity may have something to do with that. If you have not even tried friendly overtures at the very least, you will waste your time trying to make someone jealous when she might actually think you are not exactly smart if you just go by your looks alone. That is not intimidating at all from my point of view.

People are people, everyone has a side to their personality, maybe you two could actually help each other.

Attempting to intimidate a person just speaks loudly of how poorly you think of others, and deep down inside also, how poorly you think of yourself.

Try to find some common ground and if you are in a University dorm you are supposed to be there to learn a profession you will live off by practicing it, not to be worrying about how to peeve someone else. Life is a circle, you never know where it will take you, but believe me it might put you in a position where you wish you had not done something to someone in your past.

Think about it, nurture your good feelings, not just your appearance. Bad things we do to others will invariably return to us tenfold.

My school is in such chaos right now. These two girls got into a fight and somehow this guy videotaped it and broadcasted it on the web. One of the girls in the fight is my best friend and she was pretty pissed about it and didn't show up to school for a week since practically the whole school saw the video. The other girl was suspended from school because the principal found out about it. So now neither girl's life is good right now.

I suggest you don't try to intimidate this girl. It just ends up in a backlash 'cos my best friend brought it upon herself, she was always intimidating ppl and picking fights no matter what I said to her.

So maybe you'll listen to me. Though your roommate might be a snob, try to see her in a postive light. Try to be light-hearted and she'll seem more fun and less annoying.

How Annoy Your Roommate

1. Blast the Phantom of the Opera at midnight and sing along with it at the top of your lungs.

2. Smile at the walls constantly and talk and laugh with them.

3. When she says, "Is it hot out?" Look puzzled and put on your winter jacket.

4. Pick up the phone even when it is not ringing.

5. Stare at the mirror and start laughing at it. Hey, laugh really hard ok?

6.Talk to the goldfish about fat cats lurking around. Then laugh aloud, happy that you have scared it.

7. Pretend to be angry and bang the table hard AND loud. Later apologise for the hurt and grief caused to the table. Be sincere and write a letter of apology to the table.

8. Ask her the time constantly. Every 5 minutes. All night too.

9. Roll around the room and behave like a cat. Lick yourself and scratch the floor. Play with a ball of yarn and eat only fish. Meow loudly at her when she talks to you.

10. Buy underpants for her and say, "Now we can share!"

11. Tell your roommate how the room is haunted and the last people went insain and claimed they encountered the Devil. Then run your fingar over your forehead (after you've worked out), then write in the bathroom mirror, " Live dtuo! Uoys lepm octsirh Cfoti ripseth. Live dtuo! " ( Out devil! The spirit of Christ compels you. Out devil! wrote out backwards ). Then when she takes a shower and it gets steamy, she'll read this and freak out ... especially if you sit in the living area and say this over and over when she gets out of the shower.

Paris Hilton infuriates every girl because she is what they can never be. So, be more like Paris. Never wear the same designer original twice, never attend a party for a payoff under $150,000, say "That's Hot" in a breathy whisper that makes guys melt, etc etc. LOL If you really have to intimidate to compete, do you really think you can compete. Sass and class rule LOL

You want to intimidate her? You think she is uglier than you?

Strange that you think she has no right to be snobby unless she is attractive. If she was attractive would you take her snobbery in silence?

You have serious issues and maybe you and your roommate were meant for each other simply because she is not intimidated by your looks. Hopefully this experience will teach you something about humility.

you seem to have an insecurity issue. Why would you want to have that trouble and unnecessary conflict? If she's snobby, let her be.
