Is it safe to transplant my columbine plant this time of year?

It has been planted for 2 years but I want to move it to another part of the yard.Is it too late in the year?(i live in zone 6)

yes you can transplant it now.. that is a very hardy plant and will do just fine... I also live in zone 6 and that is my favorite plant. I have about 12 colors now and have transplanted them all...
