My friend she is pregnant and is going to have a baby in February....with her being pregnant it made me think, how do I tell my husband when I become pregnant? I want it to be a special moment, a surprise if you will. He took the time to surprise me to ask me to marry him. I want to have it a neat, fun, exciting experience when that time comes in our lives. Do you have any suggestions or ideas? {Or how did you tell him?}Thanks!

Yes, my husband and I have talked about the idea of kids. He is VERY supportive of the idea. We talk about EVERYTHING! :)

Your body your choice. Of course if you wait too long, he is going to think you are getting fat, and start looking at younger trimmer honnies. As a matter of fact, if you start getting fat, probaby best to tell him your pregnant.

Hi. Oh, I understand perfectly. You want a time that pops like the cork on a champagne bottle. It should be in a place that has a sense of openness and fun. Outside at a favorite spot might be nice. Or, if you really want to have a blast, have a family or friends party. Tell him first, and then let him have the fun with you of surprising your family or friends. Sounds great, huh?

Please tell me that you and your husband are trying to have kids and that he's on board with the whole pregnancy thing.....
Otherwise, TALK ABOUT IT before you just surreptitiously stop taking your birth control!!! You should only bring a baby into this world if both you and he are in agreement with the decision and have fully considered all of the possible consequences!
EDIT: Phew. Okay, good. You guys have talked about this! That being the case, then I'd do the "To Be Filled in 9 Months" picture frame idea above. That one was pretty cool...

Well this is what i did!! I made a special dinner and i fixed up our living room with candles and roses, but before I was done with everything i got a little nice box where i put the pregnancy test in. We had dinner and talk about how his day was, after we where done with dinner i told him i wanted to give him something. I took the box out and open it slowly right when i was opening it i was telling him if he wanted to be my baby's daddy!!! My husband took it as a joke, and he thought it was funny. WELL GOOD LUCK!!!

My thoughts on when to tell your husband that you are pregnant would be the same day that you found out. The you are both nicely surprised together and together to share that special time in your lives.

Buy a gender neutral baby item of your choice (Onesies, those one piece under shirts with the 3 buttons on the diaper area, are great for this), have it wrapped up really beautifully with a big bold bow. When you give it to him, he'll get excited thinking he's getting a gift (and he is!) then when he opens the box, just look at his face when he sees the cute, bite sized little onesies.

Years ago on TV i saw a show where the wife was pregnant and wanted to surprise her husband so she made a meal of Baby backribs,baby carrots,etc. get the idea.I went one further and dressed our dinner napkins in baby booties.LOL he got the message.Good Luck My son is the best thing in my life.

well this is my plan but i guess i can share, lol. if u have a build a bear in your town, go there and make one and put baby stuff on it and something that says that u are pregnant and then get a recorder placed into the bear so u can use it later, like when u both hear the heart beat for the first time record it on that so u can hear it in your baby bear. thats something the the both of you and the baby will be able to enjoy later on in life also. good huh?

I bought a romantic card and a gift bag and filled it with bottles and bibs,with the our daughter.
When I found out with my second that it was a boy, I bought a blue bib and tossed it at him as he was watching TV.
I found out 4 days before Christmas I was pregnant the first time. I sent my parents flowers,nothing unusual except I had "Merry Christmas,Your baby is having a baby!" on the card. My in-laws received flowers also and the card said "Merry Christmas!Guess who's having #13?"

When my mom was pregnant with me, she put a baby toy in the middle of my dads dinner plate when she served him dinner. You could get a shirt made that says I'm the dad, wrap it up and give it to him. Send him balloons in baby colors.

You could take him out to eat and order a dessert and have some kind of topping you can have them add ! congrats dad or something, you can find anything Cake toppers or something,
Or you can buy a baby bottle and put a cute note inside saying were having a baby!
or make him a cake and put your going to be a dad on it!
I just spit mine out but I wish I would have done something special...I was just vervous because we didnt plan ours and we werent ready yet, he made us ready though!
