I have always hard dark circles under my eyes, and I know all the reasons that cause this. But lately, they are much darker than usual. I have been sleeping around 9 hours a night, and I am wondering if this could have any affect?

not enough and to much can cause this and also not drinking enough water. read tips on reducing the look of circles under the eyes and more on skin care on this site

Well, I sleep about 3 hours a night and I also have dark circles. It is hereditary. Pure and simple. One side of my family has the dark circles and the other side does not. I got the trait of the dark circle side. Kind of makes a person look creepier and I guess that could come in handy if you are a goth. Note: I am not a goth so I guess it just makes me look plain tired.

I thought it was lack of sleep that caused it. Or, a punch in the eye.

i don't think so, i think too little sleep gives u dark circles

Heroin addiction causes that too.
