Alien - I believe the original Alien movie ranks as the best. It was so unusual for it's time, with the organic sets, the stomach bursting monster, the out-of-control android, and of course the monster.

It was filmed by Ridley Scott and had enormously successful special effects, including sets, sound track, and lighting.

The scene where Ripley (S. Weaver) is racing to escape the exploding ship, while trying to avoid the monster...has to be the most pulse-racing scene ever recorded by Hollywood.

That's my vote- Alien

The Exorcist. I went to the theater when it first came out not knowing it was a horror movie and it freaked me out. (A manly way of saying it scared the S*** out of me)

no movie is scary it all depends on the mood of your viewing atmosphere.

like if you watch a movie at midnight with the lights off and by yourself of course your gonna be scared.

but if you do the same thing during the day its not scary at all its usually funny.(especially if you watch it with friends)

but to answer your question i was most scared of the movie IT for a while but if you watch it a couple of times its frekin hilarious.
