Yeah I think they are. The majority of them should be in the comedy section! I think it is getting harder to scare people because we are so desensitized. Now if I want a good scare, I watch the news or American Justice.

Scary movies are just remakes of ones from the past and seem to be less scary, although the graphics are WAY better! But I love my Stephen King movies! Those are really good classic ones

If you are talking about "Scary Movie II-IV" then yes, they suck.
Only "Scary Movie" 1 was any good.

We've had alot of british horror lately. Not very scary at all. (28 days later, descent)
Jappanese horror isn't bad.
