Obviously the younger U R the quicker U heal & get over it.

But I've heard of the older man having it later in life due 2 medical need.
Done properly, with the right anesthetic & after care, men do cope.
U will suffer a bit of discomfort & pain, but that's why the invented pain-killers.

If you want it done that's your decision. If you have some problem with your foreskin and it's pretty serious, perhaps you should have it done. It's painful no matter what age you are, it's just that when you're older you are more aware of it but you can also brace yourself better. And you know how many painkillers you wanna take.

Is it worth it? If you're not having any problems with your foreskin I'd say no. It's a toss up, you'll get people saying things on either side. If you go into it with a really really positive outlook, you'll probably think it's worth it. If you go into it with doubt, you may come out regretting it. It's a mental thing. But on a physiological level it will reduce sensation because there are a lot of nerves in the foreskin and what remains will gradually desensitize over time. Regardless, it's certainly different.

Last question first. It won't hurt an older man any more than it would a two day old baby boy. But they will give the grownup man more pain killers because if they didn't he would get up of the table and put their lights out, which is what the baby would like to do to but can't.

It is going to hurt like hell for about a week, so you will want to drug yourself up pretty good. After about a week you will feel less, and less, and less and soon the only thing you will feel is the dry cloth of your clothing when you walk, run, cycle, climb, work or move. And sex, unless your partners vagina is made of dry cloth you won't feel that at all. (I wonder if I am still in her).

Is is worth it? Well maybe if you are to stupid to wash your willy when you are in the shower anyway or maybe even to stupid to shower at all, then this mutilation is for you. For me, if I had gotten that far avoiding the knives I would keep what I was given, and not risk infection, or other complications that could even result in the loss of my little friend. They say chances of complications are small, but they do happen to males both infant and adult every year.

What is the upside of it? Doctors like to drive Lexus.

Why do you want it?
You will lessen sexual stimulation.
And your penis tip will desensitize and not be moistened.
And the "skin" will be thicker like a callous.
And regular hygene will keep it healthy you were not born with it for nothing.
I'd say unless you have some medical reason then don't bother. Most women do not have their vagina lips cut off.

Many people think it's unneccesary, but it's a good way to avoid smelly discharge, transmittable diseases etc.

When older people get it done, it is by a doctor and they will give you a local anaesthetic. There is almost zero pain and it heals extremely quickly.

Depends on the reason for having it done. Yes, there is pain involved.
