Depends entirely on the kind of games you want to play.

I'm a big fan of brettspielwelt (=boardgameworld). That's a site for hardcore boardgamers who play the GOOD boardgames, rather than the mediocre ones that the general public knows about. The site itself is German, but there's a large English-language community on it too.

If you're looking for MMORPGs or joystick-jock stuff, then BSW isn't for you. If you enjoy good boardgames, then give it a shot.

I guess it all depends on what you think good games are. I have bought online games from, Realarcade, Alawar games, MSN games, and Yahoo has some good games too.

I have always enjoyed pogo.com. We got a year membership for $10/yr and they have a little bit of everything.
