You probably have spyware on your computer. First I would recommend a good online scan. There are several that you can use, usually offered by antivirus companies. I personally use http://housecall.antivirus.com It works great and has found things on my computer that other scans have missed. After you know that your computer is clean, then I would recommend that you get some malware scanners that stay on your computer. Some that you can get for free are "Spyboy Search and Destroy", Lavasoft's Adaware, and Microsoft's Defender. Hope this helps.

You have an adware cookie in your system which may or may not be in your temporary internet files. If so and you can identify it then you can go there and delete it. Otherwise, it may be hidden in your registry and you will need Adware, Symantec or some similar program to remove it unless you're very familiar with editing your registry which I wouldn't advise if you aren't familier with doing that. Here's a link to PCTools which will scan your computer for free and identify the adware but not remove it.

Seems like your computer has a Smitfraud virus. You should go here:
http://www.internetinspiration.co.uk/roguefix.htm
and follow the removal instructions using the free removal tool called RogueFix.
Good luck.

It's definitely not a feature. One free thing you can do right now is install Windows Defender (see URL below), which will clean spyware from your computer.
Good luck!
