you're not barred untill you get 9 violations in a short period.
I got one 2 weeks ago for telling an indian obsessed guy to use peyote for an outer body experience (that is what they did)
I actually protested since there was no reason mentioned why they found my answer violating. Got an e mail today saying they were "investigating" my claim. The people at yahoo are almost as fast as the guys from the post office!

I got one too. I responded to an adult question with a one-word answer that wasn't obscene or offensive in its language. I got nailed for it. I disputed their decision but haven't heard anything. I figure they are going to ignore me.

Yes, they don't like the 'f' word and I expressed disgust at a pop singer, that wasn't allowed either. Also a fundamental criticism of religion got someone's back up.

Ya-boo to yahoo! I asked for volunteers for a backscrub as I was about to get in the bath, and some people just have no humour. My question was removed, and I missed out on some tempting offers! At the same time, they removed my question of 'whats your favourite building'! After it was resolved as well. I was really pleased to get 100 answers for that, and some brilliant ones there too. I seem to get thumbs down for some of my answers as well, so someone has it in for me! See you in the therapy session.

I received my first one this week. Apparently people have had up to twelve and not been suspended so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
