A stationary store used to be smaller stores that sold customized note paper and envelopes, along with different types of pen and pencils.
Now any office supply store like Staples or Office Depot is considered a stationary store.

A stationery store is a store that sells paper, calligraphy pens, stickers, and things of that nature.

Actually it is station-e- ry not station-a-ry. stationery is a store that sells stationery like paper, pens, post-it-notes, file folders, etc. Stationary means does not move. So your stationary store actually means a store that does not move

i've got used the invites you're touching on. you will get them at Michaels, Walmart, or Joanns. i do no longer advise them; that precise sheet, that's vellum, may well be very troublesome to print on.
