how do i backup outlook to cd,without then having to restore it b4 being able to view from cd?

the file type needs to stay as it is,anyone any tips please?

Difficult, think you have to export all the contents a "psp" files or something, you can back up when you archive stuff but that doesnt back up your contacts, this is all done by your "import export" wizard, good luck

PST files cannot be read from read-only media. Sorry, but it MUST be copied to a hard drive in order to open the file.
