I watch little television but I tuned in to this one because of a friend's advice and must say I really enjoyed it.
Yes, it does seem a little like Northern Exposure but it was still quirky enough, original enough and funny enough for me to want to watch it again.
Are there such things as trained raccoons? I guess there are. Marin in a tug of war with the raccoon over her wedding dress was priceless. Very funny.

I am not a big fan of ann heche(however you spell it) but I tivoed it and watched it. I have to admit it held my attention and I will watch the next episode.
