I am a student from hamden CT. I make many many news broadcasts in my free time. But, I use a bookshelf for a news desk. I was wondering where I could get a News Desk for my set. You can see any of my videos and broadcasts on my website www.marcusharun.com.
Please let me know if you know where i can get 1.

I am not sure what you mean by news desk, i would think that a nice looking desk that has a closed back so they wont see your legs would suffice. Something really classy looking though.

Check Ebay from time to time. Most news desks and sets are custom built by carpenters who specialize in building sets.

I know when a station changes their sets, they end up either donating it to a local school or throw it on ebay to see if anyone wants it.

Check with your local stations. Ask them nicely to keep you in mind when they do get new set furniture. Or, if you can afford it, ask them for the right people to call to have one built for you.
