There is a purple coloured superhero called Purple Girl who is the daughter of the Purple Man who is a villain of Daredevil. Originally Purple Girl was a villian just like her father until she joined Alpha Flight. Now her new codename is called Persuasion.
Like her father Persuasion uses her power by releasing phereomones which effect the person causing the person to turn a purplish hue. Which in turn Persuasion can control the person within so many feet of the effected person. I hope this helps you out.

Seems like mostly villians go for purple, but there are exceptions.
DC's Huntress wears a purple outfit- She's like a female version of Batman and may be related (daughter)? So does Starfire (energy blaster girl) from Teen Titans.
Medusa (from Marvel's Inhumans) wore all purple. Her hair is like 15 feet long and she can control it with her wind to grab things, throw people around and restrain them, etc
There's also a version of Catwoman's costume that's a purple bodysuit.
Hawkeye (superhero archer with special arrows) wears purple as well.
Gambit & Jubilee from the X-Men wore purple tops with big trench coats.
...and of course Galactus, LOL.

The Phantom. Dont know his powers but there's a movie about him starring Billy Zane. Also there was an artist formerly known as something. His powers were to get 2 girls to make out in his videos

One of Psylocke's (from X-Men) old costumes was purple. Her hair is also purple. She is a psycic mutant, formally a telepathic, now a telekinetic, and she is immune to all forms of telepathy.
Blink is another one. Her skin is purple and so is her hair, she's a teleporter.
