my car is toyota diesel 1988 model. its battery is very low and it is not starting. is any trick to start now.i can not let it goto the workshop as it can not be started while its mid night and here any mechanic will also not be available what to do? any trick so that the battery can give initial power to start?

its midnight now how can i change battery in this very backward area where there will be no battery available or machenic avaialble while i have no charger and i have to go for some important work after 30-40 minutes please hlp me

mix water and baking soda and pour it on the battery this will clean it.
it worked for me!

OMG.

You have no replacement battery, no charger, no mechanic, no help...

Either you didn't think of jumper cables or you don't have any.

I think you need to pray for a miracle.

It's not a standard tranny or you would push it and pop the clutch right? As it's a diesel and it may be cold where you are, this may or may not work.

No one could come up with an answer to an impossible situation.

There are portable battery boosters that can give you enough juice to start the car. Otherwise, you can buy a battery for your car and replace it yourself. Just make sure you remember where the + (positive) and - (negative) battery cables are.

to get it started : jump it
short term solution : hook it up to a charger (prob wont last that long, maybe a day or maybe a week.
Best thing would to go to walmart and get a new battery
(there pretty cheap there)

If you know the battery is low, put the charger on it, or if that doesn't help, replace it.
