This one person I know has a smiley-face icon next to her email address (the icon that turns yellow or grey, depending on whether the person is signed in or not), but she uses AIM and when she said she was signed on, her icon remained grey. Can I still IM her somehow, or does she have to get a Yahoo! Messenger account? And do you have to pay for one?

Right now YIM and AIM are exclusive - when she's 'greyed' out in YIM you can still send a message and when she launches it if her settings are set to archive she will still get your message. As for paying both YIM and AIM are free!

NONE .. (HATE messaging -- I consistently Delete those irritations). Why waste MY Time attempting to discern out what's in a message ... in case you want to easily bypass recommendations to me .. then you actually might want to already recognize you need to in basic terms call me and examine with me for positive.
