Doing an experiment i have to find out how much time it would take for a effervescent tablet to dissolve at about room temperature. The guess doesn't have to be perfect but not out there either.

Hi. By dissolve I think you mean physically break down, not go into solution. In this case it is related to how aggressive the effervescence is, how strong the tablet is bonded together, what the solvent is, etc. Lots of variables. You want a guess? I don't think people would want to wait more than 1 minute.
