No, it will not appear on your criminal record until you are convicted in court.
The police to keep track in thier systems but when someone does a check(as in for work purposes) it does not show.
(in Canada, i'm not sure about the US)

I have read hundreds of background checks, and I often have seen unresolved and still pending charges on the documentation. These would not necessarily be disqualifying, but I would need to ask the applicant about them.

You say "arrested but not convicted." Not acquitted either, right? Are the charges still pending?

Didnt for me. Was charged with 2 felony's in 2000 had recent background check for employment and it wasnt there. It will show all non traffic violations though. Even ones that are ticket based. (littering)

no. if you wernt charged then that means you didn't go to court, the police hold records of all charges, arrests etc but if you havnt ever been found guilty of actually commiting any crime then it would be wrong to disclose such information.

Yes it will show up on a background check.But if it's still a recent case it won't show up.Good Luck
