who drives the snow plough driver to work?

LOL! that is a good question!

the poor old gritter and snow plough crews, have to get in the best way they can , usually walking .
It is a responsible job,
when the forecast warns of severe weather ,all the snow clearing crews arrange to get into work early .
And are prepared to work overtime in most cases .

their work is vita, to keep the roads open,
for access of the emergency vehicles , like fire , police and ambulances,
The main roads must be cleared and gritted as soon as possible
Spare a thought for these, often poorly paid heros .
