I thought very highly of the film. I'm not sure what you were expecting to see. Affleck, Brody, Hoskins, and the rest of the cast gave memorable performances. The time and place were very well drawn. I was also pleased that the writers and director stayed with the facts of the actual murder case, and for the most part, didn't try to subject their own solutions, and theories. The effect that Reeves death had on the son of the investigator (played by Brody), and their personal relationship, was also nicely tied into the investigation aspect of the story. It's without question one of the best films of the year. It's a film that leaves you with a number of unanswered questions, and a great deal to think about afterwards.
