I love James Taylor too! I have been listening to him music for years. I own all of his CD and, some of his music I have on record.
A couple of years ago I got to see him in concert in Canandaigua, NY. I had the best time! If you haven't been to one of his concerts I sure hope you get to go some time!

james taylor is a very talented musician. i really enjoy his music and always have. almost 25 years ago i had plans to go to one of his concerts. about an hour before i was supposed to leave somebody called me to take care of their children for the evening. for personal reasons i thought babysitting would be the better choice for me that night so i agreed to do that for them. guess where they went... to the james taylor concert! i guess they were pretty big fans too.

Are you kidding? Who doesn't listen to and like J.T.? I have seem James twice in concert and he makes you feel like an old friend, not like he is just there for the $. If you get a chance to see him live I would highly recommend it. It is the kind of music that is ageless in my opinion!

The only good songs Taylor ever recorded were written by other people, and all of the other people's versions of those songs were superior to his (eg. "You've Got A Friend").
Taylor was to the 1970s what Pat Boone was in the 1950s, except that he didn't spout religious nonsense between songs.

He is great , or was , he hasen't done much lately. I really like "Sweet baby James" . Almost got it down on my guitar.
