I am looking forward to seeing the leaves of the trees change to their fall colors.

A few of them are changing. I love the fall season with all the leaves and different colors. This is my favorite season.

In Georgia were I'm at the leaves are starting to change and fall off the trees. Yes, leaves changing colors are a brilliant display of nature at it's best. :)

I live in Los Angeles. The leaves don't change color here, unfortunately. However, I lived in New York for 4 months in 2002, and when I would take trips out to Long Island, I really enjoyed seeing the beautiful shades of red and orange blossoming from the trees. It truly is beautiful.

I love fall colors and miss them terribly. Fall was my favorite time of the year in America. I am in Africa and there are no season changes this close to the equator. Just hot - all the time. But, hey ... I can go swimming on Christmas if I want to! Enjoy the leaves for me, too.

And it's interesting that you asked the question about liking the tree fall colors.
In pictures, it always looks so pretty, but I've never really stopped to admire my actual surroundings.
When fall comes, I'll make sure to do that though and stop taking those types of things for granted.

Hi Stumper. And YES, they are changing and I love it. Fall is my favourite season. I live in an area which has wonderful leaves. I get out my long skirts, my black tights, my sweaters and gloves. I walk beneath the trees on a carpet of many colours. The air is cold and crisp. I can smell wood smoke on the air. Thank you for reminding me of all of this. Snuggle up and have a beautiful autumn!

I'm in Alberta, Canada, and they are. There is one odd tree across the street from me that started changing a month ago! It's been buggin me by reminding me of the approaching summer's end.
'sigh'
And now the warm weather we've had is said to be behind us. It's been cold and gloomy for 3 days.
And oh, my furnace pilot light blew out yesterday and I didn't notice till the house was freezing this morning.
Rub my feet and make me some hot chocolate? :D
