I will be 104 years old on my next birthday. My great, great, great, great, great grandchildren want to put me in a nursing home. My answer to this is that I am in full control of all my faculties.
I fought in the battle of the somme, you know, could teach you young whippersnappers a thing or two.....
so, come on, all you who are against age discrimination, tell the world that we coffin-dodgers still have a part to play in this modern world.....ok?

I think everyone over the age of 80 are wasted.. Society just doesnt want to be bothered with the aged.
If you are 104 then FANTASTIC even more so that you are on the internet on y answers typing away!! If you have lasted this long without a mobile i wouldnt recommend getting one..they frazel your brain..you will end up with ear problems and probably cause you more trouble than you think

Well done on being so old, real achievement, get a mobile phone if it is what u want to do, I work with the over 50's and none of them could work a computer that i know off, yr 104 and have a excellent grasp and is on YA very competently, that's absolutely brill well done, sounds like 104 years young.. get yr phone and good luck with it,

you are asking this question in the wrong area. should be in family or health. I think its great your 104 but why do they want to place you in a home? is your health failing? something may have brought on this thinking. If you can get around and no dementia or anything than all means stay at home. do you do anything outside of home? you need social interaction.

It depends on what you call, too old. If you've lost your sense of hearing due to old age, then you might not be needing a mobile phone, otherwise you will love the experience of phone4u and everyone.
