Winter, tights definitely, Summer stockings! Winter 70 denier, summer 10 denier!

Well Mr. Tights, it all depends on the uniform regulations and the season. Lets take air hostesses for example, they wear stockings but if it was really cold I'm sure that they would be allowed to wear tights. Nurses on the other hand seem to only ever wear stockings. I know that most school uniforms allow the students to wear tights in winter and tan stockings in summer (if you consider school as an occupation). I guess a stripper gets to wear (or not wear) what they want so they could be considered. Sorry, my brain capacity is a little limited at the moment, can't think of anymore stocking related occupations.
If you are in my occupation...you can pick and choose and wear what makes you feel the most attractive that day. Hope that answers your question...

Stockings if the uniform is trousers, tights for a skirt. Because I find stockings easier to manage under trousers. Colour would depend on the colour of the uniform and/or company requirements.

When I am working as a maid I wear black stockings but I know a lot of male maids who wear tights. I wear 15 seamless and I do because I wear corsellet and they keep it from rucking up when I am bending over

I wear Jobst support tights in either sheer or oapque for the support as I am on my feet all day. Today I am wearing sheer silky beige.

When I worked at one hospital, I wore stockings, suntan with my white uniform. Fortunately they did not require white stockings.
