I liek 'em.. but some poeple say they're too whiny, or whatever.... I think I'm a bit emo, and a bit punk (mostly punk, cuz I don't cry unless it's VERY sad, and I don't cut) but that's just my view of them, what's YOUR opinion?

I honestly have a problem with people who feel that the only way they can demonstrate natural, normal human feeling is by conforming to some physical idea that someone already thought of years ago, decades ago, centuries ago, FOREVER ago. I'm a hugely emotional person, but I don't wear black eyeshadow, skinny jeans and Morrisey t-shirts to let everyone know it. I guess it's called growing up. And I'm not trying to sound mean or anything, just reflecting on how I've changed between the ages of 13 and 30.

when I think of emo I think of these kids, who whine that their parents are so mean and now they have to cut themselves! my 14 year old sister told me she's turning emo and I booked an appointment with our family doctor because I am worried about her! anyone who is emo is on a pitty trip and has issues. Life is what you make it, and if you make it so that your sad all the time, and want everyone to feel bad for you then you need help. and sorry to say but punk and emo are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

I like everyone. Just because someone is emo/ punk/ goth or whatever dont mean anything. As long as there good people. I dont judge people. And i honestly would not put them in a category

After high school, nobody really cares if your emo punk goth or whatever. Emos didnt even exist in 1998 when i graduated. If you place yourself in one of these groups then you are conforming to the idealogy you claim to be against.

I dont have anything to say about your question but I do have to say that Gerard way is a demented idiot whos WAYYY out of his mind. Hes not even hot and his music sucks. My Chemical Romance? PLEEAASEE. If you want to slowly waste your mind by listening to that gay trash then feel free to do so. Also, being punk isnt not crying or cutting yourself. Being punk is a carefree attitude that lets you express your true self with out the restriction of others.

Some times they kinda bug me because as a group they are a bit whiney, and the boys kinda look like girls(remember skinny jeans are for skinny people). And whats with that one sided hair cut they all seem to have. . .THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME!. However I do respect people who are brave enough to portray themselves the way they truly believe they are and not because some trendoid told them to, am I babbling I hope im not.

I Like them i kinda am one lol I'm unfortunately emo lol that's what i call my self!! so yep actually thats one of the song titles of one of my songs i wrote!! but chya i luv emos the guys are awesome and the style is great and the music is the best kinda f music in the world lol nd i don't cut either and i am emo so whatever to those ppl who thinks all emos cut. i am not really punk but i do luv them too and their music is great too! Gerard is HAWT!!!!! LOL! i luv MCR!!! you know what bugs me is when ppl call Hawthorne Heights as stupid emo band that cuts and blacks their eyes!! urgh!! i have heard that said about them soooo many times!!!! urgh!!! but chya i LUV emo!! emo guys=HAWT!!!!!!!!!oh and one other thing that bugs me that some people say about emos is "all emo guys are fags" i hate that cuz its not true!!!! i hate when people talk bad about stuff or people when they have no clue as to what they are even talking about! lol⥠you are very welcome LOL!â¥

I'm not emo, but I spoke to one before that was and I just asked her that isn't emo an animal and she all got mad at me and sent it to my e-mail saying that she was going to go get an army of emos against me. Yeah right! Too bad she doesn't have any e-mail to contact! Her name she called herself was Emo (Curse word that begins with B). Have you ever heard of her?

Emos kinda scare me the whole depressed, cutting, life sucks thing is a little too wierd for me....but thats just me.
