Fabric softener is the best. I put it in with the wash, in the bottom of the dresser drawers, and I keep one or two in the bottom of the dirty clothes hamper. They make everything smell so nice. And my kids socks get pretty rank after a few days in the hamper. Phew!

i use liquid fabric softener in the rinse and i also throw a sheet of fabric softener in the dryer.

only in the winter ..keeps the static down....yes it does make a difference
