Ed Reed is better. You can not question their leadership abilities, because they both are leaders. What makes Ed Reed better than Brian Dawkins is Ed Reed ability to score and change a game with just an interception. You have to choose Ed Reed just because of the ability. Ed Reed also has a Superbowl ring.

I don't know why you include Taylor with Dawkins and Reed as far as being nasty? Sure Dawkins and Reed can deliver the lumber, but they do it before the whistle blows. Reed is the best safety in the league hands down. dawkins is past his prime. Taylor shows promise, but costs his team worthless penalty yards, and has numerous of the feild issues. He has a lot of growing up to do.

Dawkins is the best in the league. It doesn't matter is Taylor is the nastiest, if he can't play and is not better than Dawkins, why does it matter??
