Please, let's have some honest answers. If all the make up in the world disappeared tomorrow, never to return, would it bother you?

A few years ago it would have really bothered me, I wouldn't have left the house without a full face on. However as i've grown up i've realised that cliched as it sounds true beauty comes from the person you are and they way you carry yourself. (oh god how corny am I?)

That's an excellent question. I don't wear that much make-up - a little eyeliner, mascara and a little blush - but I feel pretty bare without it, not to mention not very pretty, even though I look fairly attractive without it.

Until just a few years ago, I even if I wasn't going to leave the house on any given day, I'd put make-up on. Something I've noticed lately is that I find it relaxing to sit down and put my make-up on. Like it's 'my time'.

Recently, as an experiment, I ran errands with almost no make-up on. I didn't like the feeling. I felt plain. And not noticed enough.

So, to answer your question - yes, it would definately bother me if all the make-up in the world disappeared.

I never wear make-up, maybe a little lipgloss but I would like to start wearing some, particularly when I go out, just to look a little different for a change. But, I could happily live without it. Not sure about some of my friends though, I think they would be very bothered if makeup was gone tomorrow.

It would bother me. I dont' wear make-up everday like I did before kids but I love make-up. I have since I was little. I feel that when worn correctly it enhances a woman's beauty. I even considered becoming an aesthetian so I could teach and do make-up and skin care for women to understand the right way it should be done.

It would not bother me a bit. Everyone is always saying to me that I don't need make up. I use just a little, but it is not because I need it and at home, I don't wear it at all. It would be better for everyone because people use makeup to cover marks and stuff on their faces, but they don't think about the fact that a lot of makeup causes some of those problems because it gets into your skin. Even if you use a cream under the makeup, you are still putting something against your skin. It is better not to use anything at all.

I very rarely wear make-up. I was walking around the town and a market researcher stopped me to ask if I was over 18 to answer her questions. I was 26 at the time! She was so shocked she asked for my beauty tips. I told her I don't wear make-up, I dont use beauty cleansers and all the rest. Soap and water girls and natural healthy glow is all I've ever needed and I like the way the I look.
So ditch the products girls, save some money and spend it on shoes or gin and crisps LOL.

NO...because if all the makeup in the world disappeared, no one else would be able to wear any either... and the pressure would finally be off!!!
I am constantly thinking of how I look when I wear makeup... but without it I feel free! anyway, my son says I look better without and that's good enough for me! Certain occasions call for makeup though, as it's all part of the grooming process. But even then, I like it to look natural.

If no other women were wearing makeup, I would probably be okay with it, but I wear makeup to work everyday or if I'm going out on the weekend (with the exception of little trips to the store). Without makeup, I feel I look tired, with an uneven skin tone.

I'd feel unkempt. Scruffy. Unpolished.
If all the makeup in the world disappeared, it wouldn't be so terrible because we'd all be without it and it would be normal.
But as it is now, makeup is just a part of good grooming.

I usually don't wear make-up. When I do, it is usually a bit of bronzer for the cheeks, mascara and lip gloss.
When I was in high school and college I did, but I found that it clogged up my pores so I stopped using it. So if it disappeared, I wouldn't really miss it.
