hi i just want to say that i work as a health care assistant, if your granny wants to go bowling let her do it, its obviously something she wants to do and she seems to know her limits of what she can do, where i work all the residents do bowling and even the lady we have has just turned 102 and she still plays, and the rest of the residents are not under the age of 73 so i reallt think that you should let your granny do it as it will give her her independance and let her enjoy making her own decisions and just stand by her and be there for her as well.

For gods sake, leave her alone, if she wants to go bowling let her, what business is it of yours anyway? My mother is 70 and bowls almost everyday, and many of her team mates are a lot older!! Just because you are old doesn't mean you have to sit at home all day and knit!! If your Gran feels up to going out anywhere, trust her, she will be fine.

let her do as she pleases at her age its the simple things in life that make a diffrence and if she wants to have a little fun by going bowling then she should do it, i mean seriously it could be worse she could want to go clubbing or paintballing or something really daft that she could end up seriously hurt in at least in a bowling ally there will be staff there to help her if she needs it

Let her try it out. She may soon realize that it's too much for her. Help her or have someone help her get a light bowling ball and to take it slow.

go with her and let her enjoy herself. understood she is 76, but she isn't going to be around forever. how would you feel if something happened to her tonight, and you didn't let her enjoy her last days?!?!?
